International Day of the Volunteer

December 5, 2018, on the occasion of the International day of the Volunteer, the CAB gave a resounding thank you to some 66 of its volunteers who accepted the invitation for cocktails at the Mansonville CAB.

The CAB team presented the third annual Karen Muzerall Memorial Award for lifetime volunteering in the betterment of our community to two recipients: Jeremy Eldridge & June Peacock.

Volunteer Week

Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Municipality of Potton, in collaboration with the Missisquoi North Volunteer Centre (CAB), celebrated volunteers at its 9th Annual Potton Volunteer Party held at the Mansonville Town Hall.

National Volunteer Week, (April 15 to 21), is held to recognize, celebrate and thank Canada’s volunteers; Potton’s celebration was one such event that went all out to salute the positive volunteer support it receives from its citizens. It also featured, David Sturton, who uniquely welcomed more than 90 volunteers as they arrived. Refreshments were served and the (CABMN) SADD group (Students Against Destructive Decisions) served mocktails.

Mayor Jacques Marcoux thanked the many who were representing the various organizations.

Charles Laurin, CAB President, also expressed his gratitude not only to the Volunteer Centre’s own, but also to the many volunteers from other organizations.
