Thanks for the bear story. Over the past 26 years,one bear attacked one of my cats; two young ones destroyed a neighbours bee-hives, then strolled through our fenced garden,all at night of course, but we saw the damage the following day. To top it all one bear climbed 7 steps onto our front balcony and I caught him sniffing the bird feeder full of sunflower seeds, after toppling a chair that alerted me to its presence at 11 p.m. one summer evening. I have yet to see one in day time but, frankly, I am not looking forward to it.
