A Salute to the CAB’S Annual Halloween Party FUN-draiser!

[Ce poème est disponible en anglais seulement.]

Let’s hear it for the CAB’s haunted Halloween

A lively, grotesque and sexy scene

Of young and old

And all in between

You almost had to be there to “get” what I mean

From the Ninja only a few months old

To Cat woman in black, tight and bold

From the mystery BOD member with long flowing hair

To the masked bandits who came and gave all a scare

Cab drivers aplenty

And a doctor with his cowgirl

So many costumes to judge

It made one’s head whirl

The King of hearts won third place

With first going to the beautiful and youthful male bride

And let’s not forget the loofah sponge’s sweet face

With her handsome soap on the side

From the bar always busy

To a delicious spread of food

The evening was a blast

It was great, it was “gooooood”

Some key faces missing

But the party went on

From the first of Jason’s music

To the last dance and song

The floor it was bouncing

And the sound system too

The guys they all gathered

To help get us get through

To the many who came out

Making the night fun

In support of CAB programs

When all is said and done

We really must thank you

And make our gratitude clear

You made it all worthwhile

So we will see you next year

Same location

Same good fun

Please know the CAB thanks you

For all that you’ve done

For selling tickets

For making food

We couldn’t do it without you

You are great you are “goooood!”
