Municipal employees take advantage of a bitterly cold morning to assure our local skating rink’s ice is in pristine condition.
A young kid straps his skates on and scrambles onto the ice for the first time as his parents struggle to support from behind. An older brother zips past, demonstrating a higher skill in skates and swears to their parents he’ll become the next Shea Webber. His grandfather chimes from the sidelines that his temper is more like that of Maurice Richard from his day!
Once again, this year we encourage everyone to get out to our local skating rink for what could be the perfect family outting!
