This afternoon we played games and had the inaugural play session in our new playroom.
Painted 15 years ago by my dad and I to accommodate more office space and storage, over the past week I once again revamped the room and repurposed it as a place for small groups of young kids to play.
Doubling as a quiet area for those who struggle with noisier activities, we look forward to using our playroom more and wish to thank the Mansonville SADD Chapter and it’s sponsors for paying to create this room.
Making space for all those who attend our building we look to the next room we’ll refurbish; the kitchen.
If you or someone you know has a fridge you’d be willing to sell or donate to our building, please contact [email protected].
Currently leaking periodically, our fridge is keeping us from further progress in this area despite attempts to remedy the leaking (levelling the fridge, cleaning grates and filters, removing ice buildup in freezer, +).
Understanding “beggars can’t be choosers”, our building has dealt with this faulty fridge for 2 years when it replaced another faulty fridge that was donated a few years before that: meaning we’d prefer to avoid accepting a very old fridge.
