Our motley crew returns to the pig pen, observing the growth spurt our female pig (Lindsay the bucking ham) is experiencing as she grows her own piglets inside her.
Lindsay and our 3 other pigs have lived together this past week and now will separate once again as we aim to expand our herd.
Back at the Youth Centre, Youth Coordinator (Ethan Ball) and pretend pig (Nathan) gave a demonstration on procedural deworming and vaccination protocols and talked everyone through Ethan’s toolbox.
The day ended with “Roll-a-can”, the game which utilizes common household pantry items as throw-things and exceptional skill to land them in important spots.
