Thanks to the Municipality of Potton

The Missisquoi North Volunteer Centre would like to publicly thank the Municipality of Potton for their financial assistance and recognition of our continuing mission to aid the community we serve.

Our organization is one among many CAB volunteer centres that are funded by the government to play a vital role within municipalities throughout Quebec. Our volunteer centre differs from most in that we support a larger variety of programs including a youth centre. We are very fortunate that a good portion of our budget is covered through government funding but unfortunately not all. Our abilty to provide a wider variety of services requires us to ask assistance from the community we serve, the municipality and others.

The assistance from the municipality to the CAB, Youth Centre and Ken Jones Centre is received with great appreciation and relief. Yearly we continue to struggle to maintain our existing programs and will continue to fundraise to fulfill our objectives for the 2009 – 2010 fiscal year.

On behalf of all the staff, volunteers, committees and board members we would like to thank the Mayor Jacques Marcoux and all of the councillors for their support to our future success.

In gratitude,

Brian Nichols President, CABMN

Laurette Colgan-Rouleau Vice-President, CABMN
