We ended the season with enthusiasm and excitement for the next one.
I am extremely thankful to Trish for the opportunity this summer since, working at the market was one of our more major accomplishments during what is normally “time off”.
Most importantly, I am indebted to Gwynne for all she has taught us about anarchy, growing vegetables and making others feel welcome.
What Kate and I learned and received in working with Gwynne cannot be put into words so, I’ll leave it at that!
The Derby’s BBQ was a hit Thanks again to Julia and Shannon for joining us today!
Thank you to the CAB for letting us aid the town in this way. I hope that when the the municipality searches for helpers next summer, they will find a credentialed Kate Eldridge ready to take on the task!
Thanks to Edith Smeesters for supplying the Round Barn with some of the finest volunteers the town has known!
I wasn’t able to learn all of their names but their presence was very important to us. (Thanks to the volunteers for rolling with video troubles).
Thanks to the performers. This market season was unlike any other because of your talent and we look forward to seeing what additions will be made to better accomodate your technical needs by the coming municipal council and what other work they will have done to revamp this area in the heart of our village.
Lastly, thanks to the people who attended and saw the great value in the products our local merchants worked so hard on. This community effort is still very young but already rich with history because of all who showed up.
Thank you all,
Ethan
